Upon returning to the Maiko House, she finds Kiyo has prepared a fried chicken dish for her. In a separate scene, Sumire spends an unusually long time praying at a temple. The narrative then shifts to Sumire’s debut performance as Momohana, during which Kiyo serves her a bowl of nabekko dumplings.
