Dr. Agasa takes Conan, Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, and Motota to a snowy mountain for skiing. The group discovers a vehicle stuck on the road to the ski resort and assists in freeing it. This encounter introduces them to Kengo Ishibashi, a pharmaceutical company president, and Takeru Yokoyama, a doctor, who appear to be traveling for sports hunting. After exchanging contact details, Conan and his friends separate from the men. However, their journey continues with tension as a suspicious car begins to chase them, creating an ominous atmosphere following the initial friendly interaction.
