Ayumi sees Kengo Ishibashi, a pharmaceutical company president, murder Dr. Takeru Yokoyama at a ski resort. Ishibashi chases Conan, Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, and Motota after noticing them. The group gets lost on a snowy road and encounters Ishibashi’s two friends. They use a sled to evade the pursuers, but Ishibashi joins the chase. The group searches for Conan and his friends again. Conan reaches a cabin and tries to contact the outside world. He successfully connects his phone to Dr. Agasa. This sequence of events occurs during the Whiteout incident at the resort. The characters navigate the dangerous situation while being pursued by the murderer. The connection to Dr. Agasa provides a potential lifeline for the trapped group.
