Ep. 106: Reynold Yates Wins Award Then Faces Murder Allegations
Reynold Yates receives the 35th Yomikiri Photography Award and a new watch. Reporter Artie Nelson confronts him, throwing lime powder in his face, causing Reynold to depart. Later, Artie calls Richard while fearing for his life, only to be attacked in his apartment. Conan arrives just as Artie, engulfed in flames, falls to his death. Reynold is present, capturing the incident on camera. These photographs ultimately expose Reynold’s guilt. With help from Dr. Agasa and Inspector Meguire, Conan presents his theory using a tranquilized Richard. He reveals Reynold Yates as the murderer responsible for Artie’s death. The evidence captured by the winner of the photography award proves decisive in solving the case and identifying the true culprit behind the violent crime.
