Mitsuhiko is missing during radio taiso day. The Detective Boys ask his sister about his whereabouts and learn he has been visiting an unknown location every Sunday for the past few weeks. She mentions he packed onigiris and sunscreen, and has been meeting a girl. The boys speak with the girl, who says Mitsuhiko boarded a bus hours ago and smelled of lemons. The bus driver confirms he got off at a train station. A ticket administrator reveals Mitsuhiko headed toward Mount Osutaka. At the mountain, Mitsuhiko’s Detective Badge is detected by Conan. The group follows the signal into a forest, where they meet Misao Yamamura. She warns them that a serial killer is hiding in the same woods where Mitsuhiko is currently located.
