Rachael and Conan are invited to a fishing tournament sponsored by Serena's father's company. George, Amy, and Mitch join them. During the event, they meet participants Ayukawa Saori and Masubuchi Takuya, along with freelance writer Funaki Toshihiko. On the second day of the tournament, Rachael and Serena discover Funaki dead near the lake.
