The seen Roland was Mitchell in disguise, who faked an attack to murder Gerard. Mitchell was betrayed and killed by his accomplice, Nancy, who stabbed his hand with a fountain pen. Nancy confesses Mitchell caused the fire that killed her parents and attempts suicide but fails. Conan recalls serial killer Nadia Adams from a previous case on Moon Light Island. After the case, Harley returns to Osaka and accidentally calls Conan by his real name.
