Sheshe and Mimi steal the pearls belonging to two captured mermaids. They use these pearls to power their evil microphones, which enables the Black Beauty Sisters to challenge the four Mermaid Princesses to a battle. In response to this threat, Aqua Regina provides the Mermaid Princesses with a new song to aid them. Meanwhile, Hippo retrieves a specific key that grants him the ability to transform into his true form, the Hippocampus. This sequence of events sets the stage for the confrontation between the mermaid princesses and the antagonists who have armed themselves with the stolen magical items.
