Luna, Bell, and Howard venture deeper into the Eastern Forest, discovering enhanced jumping abilities and hearing a mysterious voice more frequently. They encounter overgrown ruins where Luna experiences a headache and visions of an alien family. A giant crustacean attacks, crushing Howard’s companion, but a second creature forces the group to flee to a cliff. Meanwhile, Shingo remains at the house, frustrated by a lack of parts for the communication system. His attempt to use Chako as a power supply fails, leading to tension. Pague, Kaoru, and Menori arrive and help rescue the trio from the crustaceans. That evening, Howard discards his trophy after slime oozes from it, prompting Chako to discover a strange machine within the substance.
