Ep. 24: The Blizzard Traps the Children as They Investigate a Biometric Card
A ten-day blizzard prevents the children from leaving the cave, prompting Shingo, Chako, and Adam to investigate a card found in the ruins. They determine it is a biometric system encoded for Adam. The group, including Bell and Luna, ventures into the storm. During a rest stop, Adam dreams of his parents while Chako suffers from extreme cold. Upon reaching the ruins, Chako collapses, causing the card to glow green and open the door. Inside, they use a cold-sleep capsule to revive her. Chako identifies terraforming machine locations on a planetary hologram. Adam discovers a hidden room with an active machine protected by a force field. Bell disables the field by shorting it out. Luna and Adam enter but are attacked by holograms of Adam's parents that transform into drowning blobs. Luna uses her mysterious power to break free and shut down the machine. The snow stops and the sun emerges.
