Ep. 27: Porte reveals the Orion's dark secret while the escaped prisoners approach the shore.
Kaoru discovers an escape pod containing an old mechanic named Porte, who warns the children that the Orion is hijacked by escaped prisoners. Porte sabotaged the vessel during its descent and recognizes the group due to the high reward offered by Howard's father. While Kaoru stays behind to monitor the threat, Porte, Shingo, and Chako struggle to connect the stolen gravity control device to the ruins. Meanwhile, the storm clears, allowing prisoners Brindo, Zilba, and Bob to reach the beach using a life-raft powered by Bob's cyborg arm. After Brindo kills a snake monster, the trio investigates the shuttle wreckage and heads toward Everyone's House. Kaoru returns to the ruins to report his findings, only to discover that Howard has gone missing.
