Jiraiya reaches Konohagakure to share intelligence about Pain's whereabouts with Tsunade. Concurrently, Karin detects pursuers and enlists Jugo's assistance to evade them as the Hebi group leaves. Naruto subsequently encounters Itachi, and after a brief conversation, Itachi departs due to urgent obligations. Jiraiya and Tsunade then discuss Naruto's parents, Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, alongside the Foundation. Following this discussion, Jiraiya sets out for the Hidden Rain Village. This segment concludes the Itachi Pursuit Mission arc, marking the twelfth and final installment of the series.
