Ep. 3: Army Searches for Licht While Lynn Misinterprets His Negative Score
The army overlooks Hina and targets Licht, suspecting he holds the Ballot. Master Sergeant Lynn May volunteers in a village to increase her count, apprehending a masked man she believes to be Licht. He reveals his negative 1000 score and cries over past rejections. Following Sergeant Pele Poporo’s advice, Lynn attempts a pity date, but Licht’s groping inadvertently raises her count by alleviating his desperation. Pele realizes the negative score indicates a Ballot Holder, prompting Lynn to unmask him. Licht steals her sword, only to discover Lynn is a martial artist. During their brief fight, Lynn becomes flustered by his flirting, allowing him to escape when she closes her eyes expecting a kiss. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Jail Murdoch interrogates Nana about Licht’s location, destroying her food wagon when she lies, and sets out to hunt him down.
