Licht reveals his Colonel rank to distract helicopters, but the abyssal Althing arms stop him. Murdoch refuses to help, citing execution for attacking Althing, until he loses his glasses and ignores the law. After Licht reaches the cockpit, Sonohara Mizuka, number 32,000, shoots down the helicopter and begins killing everyone to fulfill her last order from the Waste War. She threatens a child to force Licht to revert to his bloodthirsty past. Licht snaps, instantly killing her men, and finally reveals his true identity as the Plunderer, Rihito, who dreams of claiming everything in the country for himself.
