Ash and his companions arrive at a small school during Kids' Day, allowing children to interact with their Pokémon. A boy named Timmy (マナブ, Manabu) specifically wishes to meet Meowth because a wild Meowth previously rescued him from a Beedrill attack. Team Rocket's Meowth attempts to impersonate this hero but is discovered by Misty. Subsequently, Timmy is saved once more by the actual wild Meowth.
