Ep. 19: Burgundy Challenges Cilan After Insulting Ash's Team Compatibility

While traveling to Castelia City, Ash, Iris, and Cilan stop at a mall where Ash encounters Burgundy, a Pokémon Connoisseur who asserts his Unova Pokémon are incompatible with him. Cilan arrives to support Ash, but Burgundy recognizes him and becomes furious, recalling that he previously rejected her Oshawott as incompatible years ago. She displays the Trio Badge won from Cilan's brothers and demands a battle to satisfy its conditions. Burgundy first sends out Dewott against Cilan's Dwebble, which emerges victorious. She then deploys Sawsbuck, prompting Cilan to send out Pansage. After a fierce contest, Pansage defeats the Season Pokémon. Burgundy vows that she will surpass Cilan in the future.
