Misanagi and the Black Knights proceed through a pathway toward the divine elixir, navigating an abyss filled with sulfur and phosphorus. To escape, Sanosuke breaks a wall to release water, creating a current for the group. Upon exiting the cave, they encounter Kaita, a severely injured Sanada Ninja. Yutaro treats Kaita’s wounds, and in return, Kaita reveals a tunnel leading back to the cave’s pathway. However, their progress is soon obstructed by Zan and Ren, two elite members of the Sanada Ninjas who intervene and disrupt the group’s movement.
