During a forest journey, Yahiko suffers from dehydration and is treated by a hunter who suggests the divine elixir lies at a mountain lake. After the lake reveals a path, the group discovers the elixir is hidden in a dark cave beyond a crossing. Inside, they face numerous challenges. Yutaro places a rock on an altar, which ignites the cave. Misanagi, leader of the Sanada Ninjas, appears to warn them that the path leads to the bottom of an abyss. As the group descends toward the cave base, the floor collapses beneath them, trapping them in the dangerous descent.
