Ep. 19: Kagero confesses his role in Yuito's father's death before the team infiltrates Togetsu.
Kagero admits to Yuito that he exposed his double agent status to Joe, offering to fake his death so the sons could rectify matters. Joe refused, preferring to reveal Yakumo Sumeragi’s true anti-war will before a fatal attack by Others. Kasane verifies Kagero’s account, prompting Yuito to fight him for an emotional response. Kagero reveals his own familial loss, explaining that Togetsu’s success would erase their time together. Yuito accepts the truth as the platoons prepare to infiltrate Togetsu. They note Yuito’s exponentially increased power, a sign of fading abilities due to brain damage from Karen’s forced connection to Arahabaki. Ignoring these risks, Luka teleports the group into BABE’s room. There, a hologram of their mother appears, recognized by both Yuito and Kasane.
