Ep. 15: Yuito confronts Kaito about Nagi's death and refuses to aid Suoh's lunar vengeance plot.
Yuito and his platoon return to Suoh, where a state of emergency is in effect. They learn that Nagi has been deployed to kill Yuito and extract his brain. Yuito lures Nagi to their former cadet training ground, where the location triggers a conflict in Nagi's brainwashed psyche, causing his death. Yuito buries him and visits Kaito to confront him about the brainwashing. Kaito dismisses Nagi and reveals plans to use Yuito's gravikinesis to move the Extinction Belt and attack the Moon, fulfilling Yakumo Sumeragi's ancient wish for vengeance against lunar humanity. Kaito admits he will sacrifice civilians to achieve this goal and reveals Yakumo is alive in suspended animation. Yuito rejects this genocide and is disowned by Kaito. Luka teleports the platoon to safety, where Arashi provides evidence of Kaito's crimes. Yuito decides to upload this data to Arahabaki to expose the truth. Meanwhile, Kasane learns that Seiran is relocating human-derived Others under Fubuki's orders.
