Ep. 21: Balsa Recounts Her Past Encounter With Jiguro Musa Twenty-Four Years Ago

Balsa narrates her history with Jiguro Musa from twenty-four years prior. Her father, Karna Yansa, was coerced by Logsam to assassinate the king of Kanbal under threat of Balsa's execution. Karna asked Jiguro, an elite hunter, to rescue Balsa. Jiguro defeated a royal hunter and took Balsa to a smith for a new spear within seven days. He later killed Tagul, a fellow hunter forced to fight to the death, and mourned him. Upon learning of her father's death, Balsa sought revenge by mastering spear combat. Although Jiguro initially wished to spare her from violence, he agreed to train her. When winter arrived, six remaining hunters located them in the mountains. As Balsa concealed herself, the hunters surrounded Jiguro, preparing for battle.
