Early in the morning, Chagum runs away with Nimka to return to the palace and avoid being killed by the Egg Eater. Balsa, determined to keep Chagum safe, follows him into the mountains. Witnessing his distress, she permits Chagum to charge at her with his spear. When he attacks, Balsa grabs the blade and slaps him to the ground, vowing to keep him alive even if it costs her life. Meanwhile, Shuga and the hunters arrive at Tomi Village, demanding that Soya return the prince to them. This sequence highlights the intense efforts to protect Chagum from various threats while political tensions rise in the village.
