Ep. 10: Tatsumi orders attacks on Natsuno while Toru fails to kill him and Megumi prepares to strike.
Flashbacks reveal Tatsumi commanding Kirishiki family members, including Shisuka Matsuo, to eliminate Natsuno because he knows their secret. Megumi objects to targeting Natsuno but obeys after Tatsumi threatens her life. Natsuno’s father discards protective talismans, prompting Natsuno to warn Akira and Kaori about potential vampire intruders. Following Setsuko’s death on October 4th midnight, Toru attempts to attack Natsuno but flees in shame upon being discovered. Megumi, learning of Toru’s failure, decides to kill Natsuno herself. Natsuno leaves his home to find Toru but is cornered by Tatsumi, who declares Natsuno a threat to their existence. As Tatsumi and Megumi prepare to strike, Toru appears behind Natsuno and bites him, causing the boy to collapse.
