Ep. 12: Natsuno reveals his bite marks and warns Kaori and Akira to flee the village before losing himself.

Natsuno displays bite marks on his neck to Kaori and Akira, urging them to leave the village to avoid attack. They refuse, prompting him to warn that he will no longer be himself upon their next meeting. Toru arrives at Natsuno’s house, hesitating to strike. Natsuno questions their inability to coexist and persuades Toru to flee with him. Toru claims the hunger is unbearable. Natsuno attempts to stake Toru but stops, realizing he cannot kill his friend, and offers his blood instead. Toru refuses but attacks due to overwhelming thirst. Meanwhile, Tatsumi orders Megumi to attack Kaori’s father. Natsuno’s father meets Seijirou, asserting the village is fine. Natsuno weakens from anemia as Kaori and Akira place protective charms in his room. After removing the seals, his father deems the village evil, bans the visitors, and discards the charms. Kaori and Akira’s father encounters Megumi preparing to bite him. Natsuno’s father leaves a window open for Natsuno, while Toru waits outside to attack.
