Ep. 13: Natsuno dies after being bitten by Toru while Toshio treats vampire victims and families react.

Natsuno dreams of fleeing the village but remains bedridden. Toshio treats Tokujiro, Mikiyasu’s father, who admits to dreaming of Nao. Toshio warns Tokujiro about Nao’s targeting, but the patient refuses hospitalization. Toshio then discovers Kyoko has been attacked by vampires after she collapses. Shinmei Muroi, Seishin’s paralyzed father, visits his old friend Tokujiro despite his condition. Meanwhile, Toru bites Natsuno, preventing his escape. Natsuno’s father returns to find a note from his wife stating she is leaving because their son is dead. He enters Natsuno’s room to find him dead and breaks down. Temple helpers discuss recent strange deaths and new local businesses. Seishin brings his father to see Tokujiro, suspecting his father knows about the okiagari. Kaori and Akira mourn Natsuno while planning for protection. Megumi targets Kaori’s family. Toshio watches Kyoko flatline, noting bite marks and open windows, then places ice bags around her corpse to preserve it in case she becomes an okiagari.
