Ep. 15: Seishin abandons Toshio while Natsuno returns from death to question Megumi's status.

Seishin leaves Toshio after discovering his actions against Kyoko. Toru honors Natsuno’s memory by leaving a flower at her window nightly. Toshio seeks help from bistro patrons but is rejected. At the town office, he encounters workers who only operate at night. Chizuru Kirishiki warns him to remain silent as the Kirishiki family establishes a funeral home system to swap coffins for future shiki corpses. During Kyoko’s funeral, Nurse Isaki resigns due to Toshio’s cold demeanor. Toshio realizes Nurse Yuki is missing and apologizes to the messenger. Later, Natsuno appears alive outside Toshio’s clinic, asking if he still considers Megumi dead. Natsuno departs, assuring Toshio that he is not alone.
