Ep. 17: Seishin faces shiki threats while Kaori seeks grave name and Ritsuko falls victim to attack

Seishin struggles with the shiki attack after his father disappears, revealing he allowed the creatures entry to protect his mother. Traumatized by her family's fate, Kaori digs her own grave and asks Seishin for a name, prompting him to urge her to live before leaving the temple. Meanwhile, Ritsuko attempts to rescue a hostage nurse but is bitten by two shiki after Ozaki arrives too late. In the hospital, Chizuru reveals to Ozaki that Seishin has chosen to serve the shiki and visited Sunako. Ozaki expresses his desire to survive until the village dies, only for Chizuru to bite him and order him to burn all evidence of the deaths.
