Ep. 12: Maka Albarn resolves her fear of Soul's injury while Medusa deals with rebellious witches.

Soul Albarn reveals a disturbing dream to Medusa during a medical exam, describing visions of madness and emerging from Maka Albarn’s stomach, which Medusa attributes to Ragnarok’s black blood. Troubled by Soul’s wounds, Maka resolves to become stronger and stop relying on his protection, though she must first confront her fear of seeing him hurt again. Elsewhere, Medusa’s schemes anger fellow witches Eruka Frog and Mizune, who ambush her. Medusa reveals she had previously bound magical snakes within them, causing the snakes to kill Mizune. Eruka survives but is tracked down by Medusa, who coerces her into breaking into Witch Prison to free a prisoner who stole the witches' leader’s eye, an item Medusa plans to use for an experiment on Soul.
