Ep. 19: Okabe confronts Moeka regarding her suicide and the mysterious FB after failed D-Mail attempts.
While Kurisu watches Mayuri at a doujin convention, Okabe visits Moeka’s apartment and discovers she has committed suicide. He travels back in time to prevent this, finding Moeka distressed because she has not received contact from FB, the person who ordered her to find the IBN. Okabe steals her phone to send a D-Mail, but the timeline remains unchanged, revealing that Moeka lied about the message’s content in the previous world line. After confronting her about FB and her future death, Okabe locates the text containing the IBN 5100’s location. Even annulling it with another D-Mail fails to shift the world line. Realizing he must use FB’s phone, Okabe faces Moeka’s betrayal, which ultimately leads her to reveal the IBN 5100’s location to him.
