Tsugumi falls for Bunta of the rival Umiushi family, angering her brother Ibari. Hibari mocks Ibari, leading to a chaotic confrontation where Bunta attempts an elopement. After a shootout and a brawl involving Bunta’s father, the couple plans a fake suicide pact. They ultimately choose to elope, but Bunta abandons Tsugumi to marry a wealthy woman. Enraged, Tsugumi slaps Hibari for her risky suggestion. Hibari later punches Bunta at his wedding for hurting Tsugumi. In the aftermath, Tsugumi apologizes for the slap. Hibari comforts her, hinting that Sabu harbors romantic feelings for her. Meanwhile, Kousaku admits a growing fondness for Hibari but regrets it when she attempts to kiss him, ending the episode with unresolved romantic tensions.
