The boxing club travels to Umineko Inn for training, but an earthquake traps them in a tunnel. Amidst the chaos, Hibari encourages Rie to confess to Shiina, while Shiina intends to kiss Hibari. Seat switches result in Rie confessing to Kousaku and Shiina getting beaten up. At the inn, Kousaku reveals the confession and nearly exposes Hibari’s birth gender. Later, Rie asks Hibari to join her in the baths due to poor vision, leading to a misunderstanding when Kousaku reacts jealously. That night, romantic tensions rise as Shiina rejects Kousaku’s claim that Rie loves him, preferring Hibari instead. Rie overhears this and is heartbroken. After Kousaku accidentally falls on Hibari, the group returns home, leaving Rie absent from the club.
