Ledo seeks employment while Chamber remains on standby, but finds no suitable positions. The Gargantia halts for maintenance during a calm day, granting workers a day off. Pinion, despite being a repairman, invites Ledo, Amy, Melty, and Saya for a swim. Unable to cook due to an energy shortage, Pinion sends Ledo on an errand. Other fleet members arrive, and Amy challenges Ledo to a race up a tower. During the race, Amy protects Ledo from men attempting to hire him. The group returns to the party, where Ledo delivers a bottle of sauce Pinion requested. Ledo learns Pinion organized the gathering to lift his spirits after his job search failed. He enjoys the event until the wind returns, ending the calm day. Amy then accompanies Ledo as he continues his search for work.
