Ep. 16: Rui in Edo Period: SOS Through Time

Ran and Midori locate the man who gave Rui the box and discover a time portal in his storehouse, allowing them to travel back to the Edo Period to reunite with Rui. There, Rui identifies an undercover law enforcer among his captors and recruits his assistance to locate the missing O-Ran. The trio also discovers that the proprietor, Kichibee Narukoya, is breeding and selling dangerous bugs known as darkness demons in combs for profit. When Narukoya attempts to have them killed, Ran and Midori use their powers to escape. They then lend their abilities to Rui to destroy the darkness demon possessing Narukoya, enabling all three to return to their own time using the two combs.
