Keith and Sam meet at Educational Station E-1077, an academy for students who have passed the adulthood exam. Their encounter is interrupted when a transport ship collides with a military vessel in the docks, leaving the ship isolated. The two characters stage a rescue mission to save those on board. However, they face a critical time constraint because the station's mother computer is preparing to purge the affected region. This impending system action forces them to work quickly to complete their mission before the area is eliminated.
