Keith provides shelter to Shiroe, who is escaping a psychic examination. While under Keith's protection, Shiroe is arrested but successfully plants seeds of doubt in Keith's mind. The following day, Keith is shocked to discover that all memories of both Shiroe and Jomy have been completely erased from everyone's minds. Despite this, Jomy attempts to communicate once more. In response, Shiroe flees the station. Keith subsequently shoots Shiroe down. This sequence of events highlights the sudden loss of memory and the violent conclusion to Shiroe's attempt to reach Keith, emphasizing the tragic disconnect between the characters involved in this incident.
