Shizuku seeks information regarding Haru’s history from Yuzan, who reveals that their father expelled Haru during middle school but now wishes for his return. Haru intervenes, prompting Yuzan to state his desire for Haru to remain in school, partly for Shizuku’s sake. Later, Haru shares his backstory with Shizuku during their walk home. She tells him that while she would be sad if he left, he should go if he wishes to be elsewhere. Haru declares his choice to stay with her. At school, Shizuku reflects on the changes in her life since meeting Haru. Additionally, Class A representative Chizuru thanks Haru for defending her, and Shizuku observes Chizuru’s blushing reaction.
