Rosa reveals she helped Beatrice escape Kuwadorian twenty years ago, only for Beatrice to fall to her death. Beatrice confirms this to Battler, stating no more than 18 people remain on the island, forcing him to suspect his loved ones. In Kinzo's study, Genji, Shannon, and Kanon witness Beatrice sacrifice Kinzo. Kanon duels Lucifer among the seven Sisters of Purgatory but is overwhelmed alongside Shannon. Genji euthanizes them before Ronove kills him. The Sisters kill Gohda while searching for sacrifices. They then find Kumasawa, who claims to await Beatrice. Beatrice identifies Kumasawa as her predecessor and teacher, the former Beatrice.
