Servants attempt to explain events to others, but find the bodies of Nanjo and Kumasawa missing from the crime scene. To earn Rosa’s trust, they surrender their master keys, yet she remains suspicious and sends them away with George. Battler, disgusted by Rosa’s paranoia, accepts Beatrice as a witch. Meanwhile, servants discover a smashed mirror and recall Natsuhi owned a similar one. George, Shannon, and Gohda retrieve Natsuhi’s room key from her corpse but are pursued by Beatrice and her goat servants. They enter Natsuhi’s room, but Gohda is killed by Beelzebub while defending the others. This allows Beatrice to confront George and Shannon directly.
