Souta observes Inami’s skill with female patrons and asks about her fear of men. She admits talking to him is easier, though he remains easy to hit. When Souta questions Yachiyo’s constant katana, she explains her family sells cutlery and night safety is a concern. Satou reveals Kyouko protected Yachiyo from bullies in grade school, prompting Yachiyo to follow her and make parfaits. Wagnaria’s general manager, Otoo, arrives after a long absence due to searching for his missing wife. Yachiyo falls ill, forcing Kyouko to cover her shift with poor results. Upon Yachiyo’s return, Popura suggests Satou likes her because he is consistently kind, leading Souta to confirm this observation.
