Otoo brings home Aoi Yamada, a mysterious sixteen-year-old who joins Wagnaria alongside Souta. While Popura and Inami welcome her, Souta and Satou dislike her clumsiness and lack of common sense. Yachiyo views Yamada as a parental figure, with Otoo as her father. Yamada informs Yachiyo that Satou loves her, leading to a failed confession and rejection. The next day, Popura helps reconcile the pair, prompting Satou to tell a gentle white lie to soothe Yachiyo’s feelings.
