Ep. 3: Watanuki rescues Zashiki-warashi from Jurougumo and receives Doumeki's eye essence.

Watanuki and the pipe fox reach the location where Zashiki-warashi is imprisoned. The fox breaks the barrier, allowing them to navigate a miasma and find Zashiki-warashi trapped in a spider web. They encounter Jurougumo, a spider deity holding the essence of Watanuki's right eye, which Zashiki-warashi had attempted to retrieve. Although they rescue their companion, Jurougumo consumes the eye essence and flees. Elsewhere, Ame-warashi visits Yuuko, who confirms Watanuki's safety. While recovering at Yuuko’s house, she offers Watanuki half of Doumeki's right eye essence. He accepts it, restoring his vision with a green eye. Yuuko explains that all beings are interconnected and no one is truly alone. Later, Watanuki gives Doumeki a large bento box but scolds him for failing to express gratitude for the help that restored his sight.
