Watanuki recounts a dream featuring Mokona and an eggplant alongside Himawari, prompting a conversation about their respective dreams. Later, he experiences the dreams of Himawari and Doumeki, where he is pursued by a monster and rescued by Doumeki's grandfather riding a horse. Yuuko explains that Watanuki acquired this dream from Himawari because he gave her a gift, requiring him to sell it to a Dream Buyer. Consequently, Watanuki and Yuuko sell the arrow used by Doumeki's grandfather to shoot the Dream Buyer, a creature that trades in dreams and items originating from them.
