Afterwards, Yukino voices her disapproval for being deceived into showing up and physically proving Hayato's point to the girls, and Haruno only adds fuel to the fire after observing the entire episode. In the aftermath of the incident, Hayato apologizes for creating an uncomfortable situation since he only intended to get Hachiman to see the error of his self-sacrificial methods. This offends Hachiman, who argues that the consequences of his choices are his alone and should not be the concern of others. The next day, Hachiman learns that Yukino intends to enter the upcoming election against Isshiki to solve her request, effectively jeopardizing the future of the Service Club. That afternoon, Yui tells Hachiman that she intends to enter the election as well so that she can save the current status quo of Service Club should Yukino emerge victorious.
