Ep. 6: The Congress Dances Without Incident Yet Fails to Progress Forward

The Service Club strives to preserve its routine atmosphere following recent events, prompting Hachiman to feign sociability after observing Hayato’s peer group. Isshiki interrupts to request assistance in planning a joint Christmas event with Kaihin General. When Yukino becomes tense, Hachiman rejects the offer on behalf of the club, choosing instead to accept it personally to maintain the facade of normalcy. Hachiman later meets with the Soubu and Kaihin Student Councils at a community center to begin planning. He struggles with Kaihin’s jargon, while Isshiki uncritically accepts their ideas, frustrating her Soubu peers. The following day, Hachiman attempts to communicate using similar terminology, but his idea is doubly misinterpreted amidst organizational noise. With no progress made, Kaori mocks Hachiman upon learning of his Service Club membership.
