During her school commute, Wakaba wishes to cease existing due to her parents' violent conflicts. Touko and Rinko encounter Kentaro, who uses a questionable method to check on Wakaba. After Rinko teases him, the group discovers Wakaba trapped in an egg that is reversing her life's events. Kentaro rushes to find her parents to stop the nightmare from reaching her first day of grade school, with Rinko following closely. Rinko realizes Kentaro shares memories of Wakaba, while Touko understands the situation's mechanics. This knowledge becomes the key to neutralizing the nightmare. As a result, Wakaba survives and experiences her first kiss, while her family begins to resolve their issues rationally and maturely.
