Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku

A town is home to two rival schools: Chidori High, a boys' school attended mostly by students from lower social backgrounds with poor academic records, and Kikyo Girls' High, where most students come from affluent and respected families. Rintaro Tsumugi, a second-year student at Chidori who appears tough but is kind-hearted, works at his family's bakery and meets a customer named Kaoruko Waguri. He enjoys her company, as she does not judge him based on his appearance. However, their pleasant interaction is disrupted when Rintaro learns that Kaoruko is a student at Kikyo. This realization begins a difficult journey for the two as they struggle against the barriers imposed by their schools and environment in search of their own way forward.
