Loran assists with the excavation of the spaceship and they are soon found by Sid. Kihel (Dianna) encounters other signs of her romance with the original Will Game. Luziana military commander Mulligan introduces the Militia, including Sochie, to the Suicide Squad, led by Gavane Goonny. Miran recommends Dianna (Kihel) declare a Moonrace nation in the Sunbelt zone but she wants to continue negotiations. Teteth convinces Will that the best way for him to get to the moon is to abandon the space ship and instead turn to Dianna Counter. Harry Ord fights the Suicide Squad in his Sumo and Loran joins the battle. Will joins up with Harry as he retreats.
