The Hard

Kenji Hado, a former soldier nicknamed "the Hard," earns money in the U.S. as a bounty hunter to cover his divorce expenses. A violent mafia leader named Masseria seeks to eliminate Hado's family, beginning with his father-in-law, a high-ranking member of the New York mafia. Hado has a unique trait: his shooting accuracy significantly improves when he is intoxicated, despite being a poor marksman when sober. The story originated from a short titled N.Y. Dust, which appeared in volume 12 of Riki-Oh.
