31 oct. 2000It's the night before the semi-finals of the tournament, and the finalists and friends are treated to dinner where their matches are determined - Mai vs Yuugi, Jonouchi vs Keith Howard. Once they go to bed, Honda, Anzu, and Bakura set out to find how Pegasus "cheated" in his match against Kaiba. They are then trapped by Pegasus in an underground chamber and as he is about to claim their souls Yami Bakura unexpectedly reemerges and saves them by blasting Pegasus with the power of his Millennium Ring. Yuugi soon crumples in exhaustion, under the crippling strain of maintaining his monsters in the Shadow Game. His friends yell desperate encouragement, but their voices cannot penetrate the sphere of darkness. Only Yami Yuugi can duel now, but he is at the mercy of Pegasus' Millennium Eye.
