A high school junior named Naoki Kuzumi lives with his aunt, uncle, and cousin after losing his parents in an accident. He believes his life is normal, except for not remembering his early years. One day, while napping on a bench, a redheaded girl named Mikoto lands on him. She mistakenly believes he is her younger brother. Naoki's era serves as a refuge for people from the future, where many suffer from an incurable illness. Mikoto traveled back in time after learning that her brother had been sent to this period.
